History of the KE
I was chatting to the guy I got it from.
Turns out when Grantham Police Station moved sites, this bike was a bit of an after thought. It had been seized from some ne'er-do-wells, and had been painted a squillion different colours and was destined for the skip.
It was rescued and the frame number uncovered which revealed it to be stolen some 4 years previous.
The old owner was contacted who said that he didn't really want it back, and he would sell it for a £30 donation to a cancer charity. The v5 was handed over, and we never looked back.
Nice to have a bike with a bit of character!
